Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Swim Team Coordinator to support the administrative operations of our swim team program. This is a part-time, work-from-home position responsible for managing team administrative systems, coordinating meet entries, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key communication liaison with parents and coaching staff.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple assignments independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Team Manager, Meet Manager, and TeamUnify activities
- Coordinate USA Swimming registrations
- Coordinate YMCA and USA Swimming meet entries and related communications
- Maintain accurate team records and team roster information within Team Manager software
- File reports and maintain administrative documentation as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding team updates, meet information, and registrations
- Complete additional team-related administrative duties as assigned by the Head Swim Team Coach
Qualifications
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments without direct supervision
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to the position and the YMCA mission
- Previous experience with swim team administration software preferred
